    Questions

    Who is the check for?

B2B SaaS, AI SaaS and B2B technology companies that are evaluating Japan or have started selling there.

Do I need to give my email address? How is my data handled?

No email is needed. Your result appears on the page and your answers stay in your browser. If you open the booking page, your result summary and entry stage are passed to our booking tool (Calendly). If you email yourself a copy, your email address, company name, result and answers are sent to us. Google Analytics records usage such as completion and overall score, not your individual answers.

    How is the score calculated?

Each of the 12 scored questions is worth 0 to 3 points. Area scores and the overall score show the share of the maximum points: 0 to 39 is Early stage, 40 to 69 is Building and 70 to 100 is Ready to scale. Four launch foundations (first segment, demand evidence, sales route, owner and budget) can cap the result: if two or more score 0 or 1, the result is Early stage. The score reflects your answers only and is not compared with other companies.

Is this legal or tax advice?

No. The check is a self-assessment and a starting point for discussion. When legal, tax or regulatory questions come up in a project, we coordinate with local specialists in Japan.

What happens in the 30-minute review?

We go through your result and your top priorities and agree practical next steps for the next 90 days. If more support would help, we explain the options.
